Sources and calculations
References appear alongside the relevant passages and at the end of longer articles. I favour mission documentation, research papers and reports from the teams doing the work.
Worked examples state their assumptions. A simple calculation can explain a design constraint without describing the whole spacecraft. Programme milestones are dated so that a proposal or test result is not mistaken for something that has already flown.
Reading and updates
The archive lists every entry, newest first. You can search the articles or browse by subject. The RSS / Atom feed carries new entries to your feed reader.
The spacecraft artwork is an illustration. Technical comparisons use the figures and assumptions given in the text.
